Bios of Principals and Key Personnel:

Horowitz Associates was founded by Howard Horowitz, a renowned specialist in the marketing of television, computer and Internet services to consumers.  A political scientist by training and market researcher by profession, Mr. Horowitz has served as advisor to many of the major media companies.   Over the past two and a half decades, Mr. Horowitz’s work has helped shape and advance the standard for success in marketing cable television and home entertainment services. 

Alisse Waterston, Ph.D., is a principal at Horowitz Associates and the founder of Surveys Unlimited, our multicultural marketing research division. Dr. Waterston, who is a professor at John Jay College in New York, is a cultural anthropologist recognized for her work on Latino, African-American and urban communities, and contemporary social issues. 

Adriana Waterston is Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Horowitz Associates, Inc./Surveys Unlimited.  In this capacity, she is responsible for client relations, sales, new business development and branding for the renowned research and consulting firm.  In addion to her business development responsibilities, Adriana handles project management for select clients. A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Adriana is a recognized expert on the U.S. Hispanic market and is Senior Project Manager on all multicultural and Latino research. She has particular expertise in ethnographic research, focus group moderation and one-on-one interviewing.
Nuria Riera is Vice President of Research at Horowitz Associates. During her 11 year tenure at Horowitz, Nuria has worked on virtually all types of research projects ranging from customer service tracking, market potential research, pilot testing, in-market trials and strategic reviews. Nuria oversees the entire research team as well as outside vendors and is responsible for quality control on all projects. Originally from Barcelona, Spain, her additional experience in the market research field includes research in European markets on customer satisfaction, new product testing and advertising.
